The 8th China International Medical Device Regulatory Conference held in Hangzhou

On August 16,the 8th China International Medical Device Regulatory Conference was opened in Hangzhou.Jiao Hong,Vice Minister of the China Food and Drug Administration（CFDA）,attended the conference and made a speech.
Jiaohong pointed out that, in recent years,the CFDA’s administration to actively promote the reform of the medical device review and approval system, in improving the quality and efficiency of review and approval, encouraging the innovation of new products and new technology R & D has achieved positive results.The next step will continue to deepen reform,strengthen medical equipment lifecycle management, implement the legal responsibility of the whole life cycle of the whole process of enterprise design and development,clinical trials,production and sales,product recall, adverse event reports, etc., and effectively protect the safety of medical devices.
In this conference,the CFDA’s relevant responsible persons interpreted the Chinese medical device regulatory policy and international cooperation.The relevant persons in charge of the medical supervision from the United States,Ireland,Saudi Arabia,Japan and other countries and regions set forth progress in the supervision of medical devices.
